Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas in Warwick, RI is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds, using diagnostic equipment to test engines, hulls, and navigational systems.

Candidates should have ABYC or manufacturer certifications, 5 years’ experience, and must possess their own tools; familiarity with Mercruiser, Mercury, and Yamaha is a plus. The role offers safety responsibilities and room for growth within a fast-growing marina network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school training preferred.
• 5 years’ experience preferred.
• ABYC and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; willingness to work OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to test engines, hulls, and navigational equipment.
• Install and test sanitation, refrigeration, electrical, and steering systems.
• Troubleshoot and replace vessel components as needed.
• Assign parts and coordinate with service tickets.
• Must possess own tools; overtime available to meet deadlines.
