Job summary

Banyan Living in Ohio is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to resident requests, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances across our communities.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of maintenance experience, solid knowledge of building systems, strong troubleshooting, and a customer-focused approach. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
