Job Description

TRI Transmission and Bearing Corp. is seeking full-time all-around machinists for our first shift. Positions are available for motivated, detail-oriented individuals with exceptional communication skills and project follow-through skills to work on Power Generation Bearings & Rotating Elements. Applicants must have experience with small to large parts and must be confident with conventional lathes, mills, and general machine shop tools and practices. CNC experience is a plus, as well as welding fabrication and large assembly experience or a high mechanical aptitude.

Applicants must be able to read, comprehend, and work from blueprints, written or oral directives, and must be able to inspect their own work using a variety of common machine shop inspection tools and methods. Applicants must be able to hold +/- .0002 tolerances and be able to identify and work through critical procedures. Plenty of overtime is available. Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments

TRI also specializes in resolving all types of fluid drive problems. TRI designs and manufactures new mechanical equipment and components including TRI Align-A-Pad Bearings and large, high-powered variable speed fluid drives for electrical generating plants and similar installations.
