Job Title: Experienced Machine Operator

Join us at Pacific Southwest Container, LLC as an Experienced Machine Operator. We are seeking qualified candidates for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely and efficiently
• Ensure product conformity
• Verify tooling readiness
• Perform external make ready procedures
• Input production data
• Oversee make ready functions
• Complete set-up verification checklists
• Perform and supervise preventative maintenance
• Implement sampling plans as required
• Participate in feeding and off-bearing tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively regarding needs, obstacles, and directions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of box plant skills, including reading hard cards, accurate reporting, measuring tools, etc.
• Ability to lead work crews
• Basic computer skills, math skills, and problem-solving abilities
• 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent education
• Visual abilities to differentiate shades may be required
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
