Metz Lewis Brodman Must O'Keefe LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate with 2–6 years of experience to join its litigation group in Pittsburgh. The role involves handling and managing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting briefs and motions, with opportunities to participate in court and ADR proceedings.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of litigation experience in a law firm, judicial clerkship, or comparable legal setting.
• Experience managing all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests.
• Demonstrated experience taking and defending depositions.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with experience drafting briefs, motions, and other litigation-related pleadings.
• Experience appearing in court and participating in mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle, including discovery, depositions, legal research, motion practice, court appearances, ADR proceedings, trial prep, and client communications.
