Position Type: Full-Time Hybrid (2 days hybrid per week, excluding Mondays)
Lindsay, Pickett & Postel, LLC is seeking an Experienced Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and ensure smooth and efficient litigation workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy and dynamic legal environment. This position will support multiple attorneys across various practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily administrative and clerical support to assigned attorneys
- Prepare, proofread, and finalize detailed correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents (subpoenas, motions, etc.)
- Filing of Complaints for Declaratory Judgment for coverage matters along with issuing Summons and tracking of same
- Manage attorney(s) calendar and calendar deadlines
- Schedule and coordinate meetings , court appearances and depositions
- Handle e-filing in multi-state and federal courts
- Maintain case files and case management systems
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and other external parties
- Receive and docket incoming materials, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely task completion
- Knowledge of court rules and filing procedures
- Assist with trial preparation, as needed
- Post time entries daily in the firm’s billing system
- Perform additional duties as needed to support litigation matters
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of legal experience preferred, ideally in insurance defense and/or coverage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal case management software
- Strong experience with e-filing procedures in various state and federal court systemsFamiliarity with appellate processes and procedures
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and discretion in handling confidential information
