Job summary
Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Birth team. You will provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum stages, collaborating with OB physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and support staff.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN License (Missouri or compact state)
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire
- Recent Labor & Delivery, Labor & Birth, Mother-Baby, Women’s Services, or LDRP experience
- Preferred: NRP, ACLS, C-EFM, STABLE, PALS or related certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Assess, monitor, and respond to maternal and fetal conditions
- Interpret fetal monitoring and communicate findings to providers
- Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, inductions, and high-risk pregnancies
- Assist with neonatal stabilization and resuscitation when needed
