Job summary

Fort Management in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Investments Analyst to support multifamily, industrial, and development acquisitions and asset management. You will underwrite acquisitions, perform market research, and prepare financial models for assets across the investment life cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite acquisitions by analyzing historical financials and market data.
  • Coordinate due diligence and closing processes.
  • Create financial models and presentation materials for assets.

  • Produce market research and reporting for potential acquisitions.
  • Support asset managers with underwriting and reporting.

This position requires a strong ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Essential FunctionsUnderwrite potential acquisitions by analyzing historical financial statements and performing market research and analysisCoordinate due diligence and closing processesCreate and prepare financial models and presentation materials for new and existing assetsWork in tandem with property management and operations teams to transition properties before closingConduct ad-hoc market research and reporting for potential new market acquisitionsMonitor and coordinate the execution of property business plans to optimize asset performanceCoordinate lender communication through the collection and distribution of monthly draw packagesProcure lien waivers and check copies from vendors and subcontractors for draw package submissionAssist Asset Managers with underwriting, rent roll analysis, trend analysis, and ad-hoc reportingProduce weekly financial and leasing analysis reportsCompile market surveys and submarket reports as neededCollect and distribute monthly and quarterly financial packages to lenders and equity partnersMaintain and update the portfolio construction budget trackerReview general ledgers and code invoices to respective accountsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experienceHigh proficiency in financial modelingStrong Microsoft Office skills, primarily Excel1+ years relevant experience in commercial real estate preferredTeam-oriented and deadline-driven, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsCommunicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders under deadline pressurePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
