  • Experience evaluating real estate investments through discounted cash flow analysis and return modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams while taking ownership of key responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial analysis and underwriting for potential real estate investment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain complex acquisition, development, and asset management financial models.
  • Prepare investment committee materials, deal presentations, and reports for senior leadership and capital partners
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and evaluate investment trends across target markets and asset classes.
  • Support sourcing efforts by maintaining relationships with brokers, lenders, joint venture partners, and other transaction participants.
  • Assist in transaction execution, due diligence coordination, financing processes, and closing activities.
  • Monitor and manage acquisition pipelines, tracking opportunities from initial review through execution.
  • Partner with asset management and property operations teams to support business plan execution and value creation initiatives.
  • Participate in development feasibility analysis, entitlement review, and pre-acquisition evaluations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including consultants, attorneys, lenders, and operating partners.

Client/Job Summary:

Our client, a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm, is seeking an Investment Associate to join its Dallas-based team. This individual will play a key role in sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing investments across a diversified real estate platform that includes multifamily, commercial, and development projects. The position offers direct exposure to acquisitions, asset management, development, and institutional capital relationships within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
