Job summary

Energy Northwest in Richland, WA is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Controls Technician for a bargaining unit, onsite role. The position requires five years of instrumentation and controls experience, plus two years of related technical training and a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities include performing surveillance tests, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of process instrumentation and systems, assisting startup testing, and helping plan tooling and spares.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of instrumentation and controls experience.
• Two years of related technical training required.
• Maximum of four years of experience may be fulfilled by training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• For outage work only, at least five years applicable experience.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls in industrial/commercial labs.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveillance tests and calibration of instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair process instrumentation including pneumatic/electronic types.
• Assist in initial system lineup, calibration and startup testing.
• Prepare tooling and spare parts requirements and preventive maintenance plans.
• Maintain auxiliary instruments and instrumentation systems.
• Perform other tasks as required.
