Job summary

Framatome is seeking an Instrumentation Technician in Richland, WA to test, repair, and calibrate complex control systems and instrumentation. You will work with CNC machinery, HVAC controls, and laboratory analysis equipment, applying strict safety standards.

Required are a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of relevant experience or an apprenticeship, plus a 2-year Instrument Technician certification or degree. Shift flexibility and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience or completed apprenticeship.
• Instrument Technician training certification or degree (2-year program).
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including rotating shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Use, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computerized equipment control systems.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate pneumatic and electronic instrumentation and process control systems.
• Handle environmental HVAC control systems, CNC machinery, and data collection equipment.
• Measure pressure, temperature, flow and level, and apply calibration standards.
