Job summary

Princeton Management in Michigan seeks a hands-on HVAC maintenance technician to service and repair community systems. You will communicate with residents and coworkers, prioritize tasks, and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

The role requires HVAC certification, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical aspects of HVAC equipment, with flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be HVAC certified and able to perform HVAC repairs.
• Hands-on experience using gauges, meters and necessary hand tools.
• Strong mechanical ability for diagnostics and repairs.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems relevant to HVAC.
• Ability to follow instructions while investigating furnace or AC problems.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, teamwork, communication, troubleshooting and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Professionally communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents.

• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Identify and report issues to management involving employees, property, or residents.

• Complete work required by municipalities and building inspectors.
• Work overtime when required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders as needed.
• Assist Supervisors/Managers with other community operations tasks.

• HVAC repairs including troubleshooting and replacement of components, etc. Must be HVAC certified.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines, tools and equipment continue to run properly.
• Complete work required by municipalities and building inspectors
• Work overtime when needed
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders to various heights is required
• May be asked to assist Supervisor/Manager/ Area Director with other tasks and duties relative to community operations
