Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking an HVAC technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems across occupied units. The role requires hands-on experience with gauges, meters, and hand tools, plus HVAC certification.

Candidates should be able to work independently or in a team, manage priorities, and report any issues to leadership. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, completing service requests, and ensuring compliance with municipal requirements.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• Strong mechanical ability and knowledge of basic electrical systems.
• Able to follow instructions while diagnosing furnace or AC problems.
• Attention to detail and ability to collaborate within a team and independently.

Responsibilities:

• Professionally communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents
• Must possess positive attitude and desire to lead by example
• Be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Must be organized and able to prioritize
• Identify and report to management issues involving the employees, property or residents
• Timely complete service requests in occupied apartments
• HVAC repairs including troubleshooting and replacement of components, etc. Must be HVAC certified.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines, tools and equipment continue to run properly.
• Complete work required by municipalities and building inspectors
• Work overtime when needed
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders to various heights is required
• May be asked to assist Supervisor/Manager/ Area Director with other tasks and duties relative to community operations
