Bogner HVAC in Freedom, CA is seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a reputable, family-friendly team. No on-call required and hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of residential or commercial HVAC service, EPA Universal Certification, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints. We offer competitive pay at $32–$38 per hour, 85% company-paid medical, dental and vision, a 401(k) with up to 6% match, paid

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of residential or commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• HVAC technical school or formal training preferred.
• Basic hand tools familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Identify system issues and determine repair or replacement solutions.
• Deliver professional, knowledgeable service to customers.
• Follow safety, workmanship, and customer-care standards.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and equipment documentation.
• Apply air balancing and basic sheet metal practices.
• Operate scissor/ Genie lifts when needed.

We're looking for an HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving technical problems, and wants to grow with a well-established local company.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC equipment
• Identify system issues and determine appropriate repair or replacement solutions
• Deliver professional, knowledgeable service to customers
• Follow company standards for safety, workmanship, and customer care
• Communicate equipment, inventory, and training needs to the Service Manager
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment documentation
• Apply proper air balancing and basic sheet metal practices
• Safely operate scissor lifts and Genie lifts when needed
• Maintain and use your own basic HVAC hand tools

What You Bring

• 2–3+ years of residential or commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities across a variety of HVAC systems
• Experience evaluating whether equipment should be repaired or replaced
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Basic understanding of sheet metal practices and air balancing
• Willingness to take ownership and grow into additional responsibility or leadership
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• HVAC technical school or formal training is preferred
• Basic hand tools

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

No evenings. No weekends. No on-call rotation.
