CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• HVAC Service Tech for a company that handles service work and site maintenance for accounts.
• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location.
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
• Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness.
• Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance services.
• Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and notifying the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Serves as a direct customer contact, representing the company professionally.
• Determines parts to order for repairs and assesses the timeliness of needs.
• Records parts, material, labor, subs, and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.
• Ensures all required paperwork and reports are submitted timely.
• Keeps current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Reads and interprets product specifications.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• Works overtime/weekends as necessary and maintains flexibility.
• Regular travel with some overnight stays as needed.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
