Job summary

Allen Service in Commerce City, CO is hiring an Experienced HVAC Service Technician. This full-time, on-site role involves servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems across the local service region, with travel to job sites daily.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed, and a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You bring 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal Certification, a clean driving record, and your own tools to perform

Schedule

Monday through Friday; daily hours vary based on active business demands. This is a variable full-time role up to 40 hours per week, with weekly hours fluctuating alongside seasonal business needs and project volume. To meet shifting operational deadlines, occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required.

Travel

Daily travel to residential/commercial job sites throughout the local branch’s service region.

• Compensation: $30.00-40.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.
• Provide start-ups and troubleshooting for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.
• Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.

What You Bring

• Experience:2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and light commercial).
• Licensing:A clean driving record and valid license. EPA Type II or Universal Certification (NATE preferred).
• Tools: Your own tools, gauges, and multimeter.
• Integrity:High integrity with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Must be able to navigate various job site environments, including climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and maneuvering around HVAC equipment.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and manipulate tools and equipment weighing up to 50lbsand remain physically active for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work comfortably in variable weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather, while navigating unconditioned spaces like attics and crawlspaces.

Compensation

• Base Pay Range: $30.00-40.00 per hour
• Range Basis: Within this range, an individual's starting pay is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, qualifications, professional experience, and internal equity across our organization.
• Other Compensation: Overtime eligibility. See benefits listed above.
• Overtime Classification: Hourly, non-exempt.
