NorthPort Heating and Air Conditioning is looking to add a full-time experienced HVAC Service Dispatcher to our office team in Jacksonville, FL. This position comes with a competitive pay of $13-$16/hour based on experience. We also offer opportunities for overtime, sales opportunities, paid vacation, paid holidays, and sick time. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC SERVICE DISPATCHER
As an HVAC Service Dispatcher, you are essential to keeping our field technicians busy and ensuring superb customer service. Most of your day is spent in an office environment on the phone or on your computer. Your main responsibilities include responding to emails, receiving incoming customer phone calls, entering work orders, and dispatching service calls to field technicians. You forecast days and weeks ahead to keep our field technicians working and on track while maximizing their time and mileage.
To ensure that services are complete and our customers are satisfied, you make follow-up phone calls to both our customers and field technicians. We also rely on you to handle a variety of office duties such as ordering parts and equipment, filing and completing paperwork, preparing bills and invoices, and organizing office supplies. Each day you enjoy interacting with a variety of people and find great satisfaction in keeping our office and service department running smoothly.
