Comfortable Climate Heating, Air & Plumbing is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installer in Gloucester Point, VA to deliver high-quality installations from start to finish. Join a locally owned company serving Hampton Roads and the Middle Peninsula.
You’ll install equipment, modify ductwork, and ensure compliance with codes while maintaining professional job sites and excellent customer communication.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- EPA Certification required.
- Hands-on experience installing residential heating and cooling systems.
- Experience with ductwork and sheet metal fabrication.
- Comfortable with brazing, soldering, and copper line set installation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Customer-service mindset and professional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC equipment, including air handlers, condensers, furnaces, heat pumps, and controls.
- Install and modify ductwork and sheet metal as required for each project.
- Complete copper line set connections, brazing, soldering, and related HVAC work.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and applicable building and mechanical codes.
- Verify installations are completed properly and systems are ready for startup and commissioning.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
- Protect customers' homes while working in attics, crawlspaces, garages, and other work areas.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
- Complete installation paperwork, checklists, and required documentation.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and materials.

NATE certification, OSHA training, or other relevant HVAC and safety certifications are preferred but not required.
- $30-40/hour + commission opportunities
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
