Energy Pro Heating & Cooling is seeking a full-time HVAC Installer in Portsmouth, VA. The role involves installing heating and air conditioning systems, wiring and soldering refrigerant lines, and installing ductwork.

You will report to the Portsmouth location and work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional longer hours. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of HVAC installation experience, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience installing HVAC systems.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varied conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Honest, dependable, mechanically inclined and self-motivated.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install heating and air conditioning systems, including wiring and soldering refrigerant lines.
• Install ductwork and gas lines with precision and safety.
• Pre-measure jobs, load equipment, and follow safety and quality protocols.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.

This position comes with a stable Monday to Friday schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM, with occasional later hours to finish jobs. You'll start each day reporting to our Portsmouth location before heading to job sites.
