Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification by a national healthcare chaplain certifying organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate spiritual care across the hospital for patients, families and staff.
• Develop, implement and evaluate the spiritual plan of care through assessments.
• Educate staff in the provision of spiritual care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate holistic patient care.
• Document patient care concerns and interventions; participate in committees.
• Provide expertise in cultural/faith diversity, ethics, end-of-life planning and grief.
