Job summary

Primary Utility Services, LLC is seeking a Transmission Lineman to install, maintain, and repair high-voltage transmission lines and equipment, including towers and conductors. This role requires extensive outdoor work, strong safety commitment, and the ability to perform in challenging weather.

Under the Transmission Crew Foreman, you will climb poles or towers, troubleshoot faults, operate bucket trucks and other heavy equipment, document work, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience as a lineman on high-voltage transmission lines.
• DOL lineman apprenticeship program preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair high-voltage transmission lines, equipment, and structures.
• Climb transmission towers and poles or operate aerial lift trucks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair faults and outages in transmission systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE, and minimum approach distances.
