Job summary

HKA Enterprises is seeking a Transmission Lineman to build, maintain, and repair overhead transmission lines. This role involves the safe operation of digger trucks and bucket trucks to construct and maintain electrical systems of de-energized overhead transmission lines.

Must be willing to travel and work away from home. Install and maintain poles, towers, and power lines, and assist in transmitting facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to climb wood poles, steel poles, and lattice steel towers without the assistance of a boom or bucket truck.
• Ability to work at heights up to and above 100 feet.
• Able to drive all vehicles assigned to the line crew.
• High school diploma.
• Experience with backhoe, trencher, excavator, skid steer, bulldozer, and other heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background/MVR check.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home.
