Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair electrical transmission systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, with travel to various job sites as needed, reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include leading crews, safety briefings, mentoring apprentices, and operating transmission line equipment. This role requires climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime and callouts in diverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including outages.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of transmission lines with safety first.
• Lead crew members in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and ground workers.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks and other line equipment; work outdoors in varied conditions.
