Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland West is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to deliver in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County. Flexible scheduling includes part-time, full-time, PRN, weekday/weekends, and 12-hour shifts to fit your life.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and medication reminders, while providing companionship and following care plans under RN oversight.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• One year of caregiving or related direct care experience preferred.
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• CPR certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility support, transfers and ambulation assistance.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders as directed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.
• Observe and report changes to the care team; follow care plans and protocols.

Current Schedule Include:

• Part-Time, Full-Time and PRN shifts Available
• Morning, Afternoon and night shifts available
• 2-hours shifts available with Premium pay
• 12 hours shifts available as well.
• Willing to work in West part of Cleveland

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience preferred
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while following client care plans
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
