BrightStar Care - Cleveland is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to deliver in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County. We offer part-time, full-time and PRN shifts, with options for morning, afternoon, night, and 12-hour blocks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of caregiving/home-care experience preferred.
• HHA/STNA/CNA training preferred and CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; accompany to appointments and activities.
• Observe changes and report to care team; follow individualized care plans.

Current Schedule Include:

• Part-Time, Full-Time and PRN shifts Available


• Morning, Afternoon and night shifts available


• 2-hours shifts available with Premium pay


• 4-8 hours shifts available


• 12 hours shifts available as well.


• Willing to work in West part of Cleveland

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene


• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support


• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders


• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed


• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team


• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED


• Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience preferred


• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred


• Current CPR certification


• Negative TB test or chest x‑ray


• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently while following client care plans


• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
