Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland West is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County. You will support clients with essential daily tasks, mobility, and personal care in a respectful, patient-centered manner.

This role offers flexible scheduling, a choice of full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth. You will work under RN oversight with training and HIPAA compliance to ensure high-quality, reliable care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year caregiving experience preferred.
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.
