Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland West seeks compassionate Home Health Aides to deliver in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, medications, and companionship.

We offer flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN, weekday/weekend, or 12-hour shifts) and steady client assignments with supportive leadership and opportunities for career growth. RN oversight ensures quality, with a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in home care or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.
