Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide in-home care throughout Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities. Flexible scheduling includes full-time, part-time, PRN, weekday, weekend, and 12-hour shifts to fit your availability.

As a Home Health Aide, you will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship while following care plans and reporting any changes to the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum one year of caregiving/home care experience preferred
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols
