Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County and nearby communities. Flexible schedules include full-time, part-time, PRN, weekdays, weekends, and 12-hour shifts with RN oversight and clinical support.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship while following individualized care plans. Join a supportive team committed to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, or direct care experience preferred.
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team.
