Job summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. in Texas is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to join our team. You will operate multiple types of heavy equipment to prepare and grade job sites, attach attachments, and move materials while meeting safety and production standards.

Candidates should have at least 4 years of heavy equipment experience, be willing to perform laborer tasks, and work overtime as project needs dictate. Valid driver’s license required; GPS tech on equipment may be used.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of heavy equipment operating experience with multiple types of equipment.
• Willing to perform laborer work as needed.
• Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment.
• Frequent gross body movements including lifting up to 75 lbs; good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate three or more types of heavy equipment (backhoe, excavator, dozer, etc.) to prepare job sites.
• Attach and detach implements, connect hydraulic hoses and implements as required.
• Move and grade dirt, rocks, and debris to meet grade specifications and production goals.
• Work with GPS-installed devices on dozers and motor graders when required.
• Follow safety standards and maintain equipment with daily checks.
