Job summary

FNF Construction, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a General Operator with at least 5 years of experience to safely operate heavy equipment on earthmoving and site development projects.

You will perform pre/post shift inspections, follow safety programs, coordinate with crew, and travel to southwestern states as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position and requires working with various heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and scrapers.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to operate multiple types of equipment safely.
• Ship/road work travel across southwestern states as assigned.
• Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete required safety training and participate in project safety meetings.
• Perform pre and post-shift inspections and logs/reports.
• Operate equipment in accordance with safety programs.
• Safely operate backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders and graders.
• Drive and control equipment for road, excavation, and lifting work.
• Coordinate with crew and other trades to meet daily schedules.
• Inspect, clean, and perform light maintenance; report malfunctions.
• Use PPE appropriately and travel as project needs require.
