Job summary

Brown's Construction Services in Monroe, LA seeks an experienced Flooring Installer for on-site residential and commercial projects across Northeast Louisiana. You will prepare subfloors, measure, install, and finish floors with attention to detail.

This is full-time, pay $20–$23 per hour, with employer-sponsored health insurance, paid vacation and PTO. You will work Monday–Friday with project-based start times and opportunities to grow with the company. Valid transportation to sites required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional flooring-installation experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple flooring products is strongly preferred.
• Ability to measure, prepare surfaces, and finish installations with quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare subfloors before installation.
• Remove existing flooring and dispose of materials appropriately.
• Measure rooms and calculate material requirements.
• Plan layouts to reduce waste and ensure a finished appearance.
• Install flooring according to manufacturer and project specs.
• Cut and fit materials around walls, corners, and fixtures.
• Install transitions, underlayment, and related components.
• Identify moisture or substrate concerns and report them.
• Repair or replace damaged flooring when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate project needs and progress to supervisors.
• Travel between residential and commercial project locations.

Experienced Flooring Installer

Location: This is an on-site field position based in Monroe, LA, with work at residential and commercial project sites throughout Northeast Louisiana

We are looking for an experienced Flooring Installer who can complete professional installations with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. You will work on residential remodels, commercial projects, and interior renovations throughout the region. This is a skilled position for someone who can properly prepare surfaces, plan layouts, install materials, and deliver clean, finished results.
