Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is hiring experienced Fish Cutters to join our team in Hawai`i. This is an hourly, full-time on-site position with evening and weekend availability strongly preferred. Pay starts from $23/hour, with a posted rate of $23.55 USD per hour.

You will stock and merchandise seafood products, assist customers, and help maintain freshness with proper rotation. Candidates must pass an apprentice/training program, be 18+, and have a high school education or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must successfully pass apprentice/training program.
• TB Clearance
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• ensuring the seafood cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for our customers
• receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, price, and attractively merchandise seafood department products
• proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness and availability, while minimizing waste
• attend the service case
• assist customers with special requests, and answer questions about our seafood products
• help increase sales by offering product samples and by recommending additional items.
