Job summary

Reliable Door and Dock, a Vortex Doors Company, in Appleton, WI, is seeking an Experienced Field Service Technician to install and service overhead doors and docks for commercial clients.

You will be the face of our team, delivering reliable service with keen attention to installation quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on tool mastery, a can-do attitude, and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Have one or more years of experience installing and/or servicing commercial and industrial overhead doors and docks
• Be a master of hand and power tools, showcasing your knowledge in this area
• Possess mechanical aptitude that enables you to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges
• Be a team player who can also work independently
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues and customers
• Have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
• Be capable of regularly lifting anywhere between 50-100 lbs

Responsibilities

• Installing and servicing overhead doors, docks, dock levelers, springs, cables, and other essential hardware
• Setting up and maintaining various commercial and industrial specialty doors, equipment, and accessories
• Ensuring quality by meticulously checking for proper installation, clearance, and balance
• Delivering unparalleled customer service and responding to customer inquiries honestly and pleasantly
