Laconia Refrigeration & New England Mechanical is seeking an experienced Level 3 HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems. The role includes on-call duties and travel across New England, with a focus on high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of hands-on experience, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and NH gas work credentials.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands-on commercial/residential HVAC/R experience.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• New Hampshire Gas Service Technician license required for applicable gas work.
• Ability to independently diagnose problems and complete HVAC/R repairs.
• Knowledge of applicable state and local codes and current industry standards.
• Must provide standard HVAC/R hand tools; company provides designated specialty equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC/R systems.
• Service rooftop units, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerated cases and ice machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
• Train and provide technical support to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
• Accurately record labor, materials, and job details using ServiceTitan and tablets.
• Communicate with dispatchers and office staff regarding job status and needs.
• Follow company safety procedures, including PPE and fall protection.
• Maintain the assigned company vehicle and professional appearance.
• Travel throughout New England, including occasional overnight stays.
