Job summary

Laconia Refrigeration & New England Mechanical is looking for an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial systems. The role is field-based, traveling across New England from a home dispatch, with a rotating on‑call schedule and strong customer service expectations.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of hands‑on HVAC/R experience, EPA 608 Universal Certification, NH license, and the ability to work independently while following safety

Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands‑on commercial and/or residential HVAC/R experience.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• NH Gas Service Technician license required for NH gas work.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently.
• Strong customer service and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain HVAC/R systems.
• Service rooftop units, walk‑ins, cases, and ice machines; perform PM and calibration.
• Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues with minimal supervision.
• Train Level 1 & Level 2 technicians and provide technical support.
• Document labor, materials, and approvals in ServiceTitan and via tablets.
• Travel across New England; participate in rotating on‑call schedule.
