Responsibilities

Engineering Technicians assist in the preparation of design drawings, plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for a variety of civil site/land development/water/wastewater projects, including commercial, industrial, and municipal projects. They use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design drawings and documents on a regular basis and assist in the preparation of reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school/GED diploma and 10 years of experience or an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and 8 years related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience designing residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Coastal experience is a plus.
• Municipal experience.
• Proficiency in commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license.
