Job summary

Wainwright Talent Partners in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an Electrical Construction Estimator to join our client’s team to estimate work from proposals, blueprints, specs, and job walks, with the potential to lead the department.

This role includes attending job walks, preparing accurate estimates, analyzing offers, and ensuring bid deadlines are met while building strong vendor relationships in a deadline-driven setting.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in construction estimating within the electrical field.
• Ability to interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with the NEC (National Electrical Code).
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must have ability to clearly communicate via email, phone, or in person.
• Good understanding of cost analysis methods.
• Familiarity with computer programs such as Plan Swift, Accubid, or Take-Off software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good time-management skills, ability to multitask, strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend job walks and pre-bid meetings.
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates.
• Analyze and evaluate offers.
• Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine the scope of work.
• Utilize software for estimating purposes.
