Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs and related studies under supervision. This role requires prior independent EEG tech experience and involves completing diverse neurodiagnostic tests, patient preparation, and data documentation.

Multiple shifts are available, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles. Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, adhering to infection control policies, and communicating results to patients

Qualifications

• Independent EEG tech experience is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with others.
• Ability to maintain infection control practices and disinfect equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and arrange repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment and follows infection control policies.
• Complete EEGs/LTMs.
• Document data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explain tests to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Troubleshoot equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Prepare patients for examinations and provide age-appropriate instructions.
• Possibility to perform neurodiagnostic tests within competence.
