Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs and related studies while adhering to facility policies. Independent EEG experience is required, with multiple shift options available and potential sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moving 50+ miles.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, documenting results, troubleshooting equipment, and communicating findings per training. Carle Health supports professional growth across several facilities.

Qualifications

• Education/experience in Neurodiagnostic Tech paths and related field.
• Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work corroboratively with others.
• Ability to accept and institute changes; demonstrate technical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment; follows infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs and documents data in patient charts.
• Explains tests to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repair service when indicated.
• Potential to complete all neurodiagnostic tests per competence/training.
• Notify Neuroscience physician for grossly abnormal EEG tracings as needed.
