Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs and related studies with supervision, ensuring accurate data entry in patient charts and clear patient explanations. Candidates must have prior independent EEG experience and be prepared to work multiple shifts.

A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for moves of 50 miles or more. The role requires ensuring infection control, handling bed/ lab tests, and providing support to neuroscience physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Independent EEG technician experience required.
• Multiple Shift Options: 7:30a-4:00p, 12:30p-8:00p, or 7:00a-7:30p.
• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance if moving 50+ miles.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment per infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs.
• Documents data in patient chart and lab files.
• Explains tests and procedures to patients for optimal results.
• Performs accurate documentation.
• Performs all types of EEGs including bedside, electrical cerebral silence, standard lab EEGs.
• Prepares patients and provides instructions; communicates age-appropriate information.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs when needed.
• May perform additional neurodiagnostic tests as trained.
