Job summary

VMCH is seeking part-time home care assistants to support older Australians in their own homes. You will perform general cleaning tasks, uphold high hygiene standards and protect clients’ dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse with understanding and sensitivity.
• Strong commitment to service and care.
• Current Victorian Driver’s License is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Look after older Australians with general cleaning tasks in client homes, maintaining high hygiene standards and respecting dignity and privacy.
• Support clients to live independently and safely in their own homes.
