Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced Loading Dock / Commercial & Industrial Door Technician to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that supports servicing, troubleshooting, and installation of commercial or industrial door and loading dock equipment.

You will work alongside seasoned technicians and access manufacturer training to advance your skills while ensuring safety and quality at client locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, or installing commercial/residential door or loading dock equipment.
• At least 2 years of welding, electrical troubleshooting, or field service experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete daily service work orders.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial door systems.
• Install commercial doors, loading dock equipment, and related products.
• Perform preventative maintenance and field service work.
• Provide professional customer service while working at client locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional with experience servicing, troubleshooting, and installing commercial or industrial doors and loading dock equipment. You'll work alongside experienced technicians while continuing to build your skills through hands‑on and manufacturer training.
