Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Lead Loading Dock / Commercial & Industrial Door Technician to support customers in the Mentor area of Northeast Ohio. This field-based role leads installation and service crews, troubleshoots and repairs dock and door equipment, and travels to client sites.

Key requirements include 4+ years of hands-on experience with commercial or loading dock systems, strong mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience installing, repairing, or troubleshooting commercial or residential door and/or loading dock equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Welding experience and/or electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and on construction sites.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete daily service work orders
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment
• Install commercial and industrial doors and loading dock equipment
• Lead and supervise daily jobsite crews
• Ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer service
• Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory
