Job summary

Modern Support Services in California is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our diverse team in LA and Orange Counties. This in-person role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We offer flex schedules (part-time and full-time), weekend rotation, ongoing training, and competitive pay. A valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation are required; ASL knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Reliable transportation and a valid CA Driver's License.
• Background check required.
• Previous experience in human services is a plus.
• If you know American Sign Language, let us know! We have special opportunities for those with ASL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Mentor, teacher, guide, and advocate for clients.
• Assist with Community Access, Personal Care, Medical Appointments, Peer Interactions, and Recreational Activities.
