Job summary

Ideal Ready Mix Company is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain our heavy construction fleet in Burlington, IA. You will diagnose, repair, and service diesel engines, and handle electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while keeping precise service records.

We offer weekly pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan, disability and life coverage, tool reimbursement up to $1000 per year, and PTO from day one. Candidates must be able to work weekends and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred (or equivalent post- secondary training).
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Air Brakes endorsement required.
• Ability to provide your own tools.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel, work weekends, and be on call when needed.
