Job summary

Chalmers Dental in Folsom, CA is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead daily operations of a private family dental practice. You will support patients and the team while upholding policies, financial processes, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of dental office experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a patient-focused leadership style. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard weekday hours and opportunities to improve practice

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dental office experience is preferred.
• Experience working across multiple areas of a dental practice.
• Previous management or leadership experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable making decisions independently.
• Patient-focused and team-oriented.
• Flexible Monday-Friday availability, with hours generally 7:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the practice.
• Ensure office policies, procedures, and protocols are followed.
• Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable.
• Present treatment plans, explain financial policies, and discuss payment options with patients.
• Process and follow up on insurance claims.
• Identify ways to improve office efficiency, productivity, and overall workflow.
• Ensure OSHA, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Lead staff meetings, trainings, and daily huddles.
• Review schedules for errors or inconsistencies and work with the team to make adjustments.
• Manage scheduling blocks to maximize productivity.
• Monitor unscheduled treatment and ensure timely follow-up.
• Motivate the team through goals and office challenges.
• Conduct team check-ins and assist with annual performance evaluations.
• Support the team with other duties as needed

We are a well-established and thriving private family dental practice in Folsom, CA, and we are looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our team.

We're looking for someone who is positive, patient-focused, organized, and motivated to help lead the practice while supporting both our patients and team.

What You'll Be Responsible For
