Private Family Dental Practice in Folsom, CA is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our team. You will oversee day-to-day clinical and administrative operations, ensure policies are followed, manage accounts receivable, present treatment plans, and coordinate insurance processes to support patient care.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a dental office, strong leadership and communication skills, and a patient-focused, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dental office experience preferred.
• Experience across multiple areas of a dental practice.
• Previous management or leadership experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable making decisions and finding solutions independently.
• Patient-focused and team-oriented.
• Flexible Monday-Friday availability; hours generally 7:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the practice.
• Ensure office policies, procedures, and protocols are followed.
• Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable.
• Present treatment plans, explain financial policies, and discuss payment options with patients.
• Process and follow up on insurance claims.
• Identify ways to improve office efficiency, productivity, and overall workflow.
• Ensure OSHA, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Lead staff meetings, trainings, and daily huddles.
• Review schedules for errors or inconsistencies and work with the team to make adjustments.
• Manage schedule blocking and unblocking to maximize productivity.
• Monitor unscheduled treatment and ensure patients receive timely follow-up.
• Help motivate the team through goals and office challenges.
• Conduct team check-ins and assist with annual performance evaluations.
• Support the team with other duties as needed.
