Heartland Dental LLC, via ForwardDental – Janesville, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a 9‑person team. The role requires 4+ years of dental assisting and Dentrix experience is preferred.

Competitive pay at $24.00–$26.00/hour with a Monday–Thursday schedule and every other Friday. Responsibilities include chairside assistance, x-ray processing, patient education, and using Dentrix for scheduling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of dental assisting experience required
• Dentrix experience preferred
• State requirements may demand dental assistant and/or x-ray certification

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients at the start and maintain comfort throughout treatment
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic images
• Provide four‑handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
• Schedule and record patient data using Dentrix
• Prepare treatment rooms with strict safety protocols
• Monitor supplies and place orders to maintain stock
