Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in dental assisting and a passion for providing excellent care. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorative, preventive, and surgical treatments
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for patient use
  • Take X-rays and assist with diagnostic tests
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures
  • Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth patient experience from start to finish
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to OSHA and infection control protocols
  • Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
  • Perform administrative duties as needed, including scheduling appointments, confirming visits, and processing insurance claims
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum of 2 years preferred)
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments
  • Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain organized
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well with a team
